I’m starting to question the revolutionary potential of workers. To me, they mostly seem a backward, bigoted, moronic lot. I tell myself that they are just a product of a sick system, manipulated by capitalists, politicians, marketers, etc., but maybe in the case of politicians, at least, it is the other way round. The politicians accurately reflect the sentiments of these people. If anything, they lag behind workers in their assault on human decency.Было бы "золотыми словами", если б таким золотом можно было гордиться. Но скопировать и сохранить все равно стоит.
If there’s any hope of change, maybe it will have to be driven by people outside of that mass of willful ignorance and blind stupidity, which appears to be hostile even to the idea of learning anything, let alone rising to a higher level of consciousness and demanding positive change.
I’d rather sit down and chat with a capitalist, an unemployed person, or a homeless guy than a brain-dead worker-bot any day of the week. At least they have some degree of curiosity and time to reflect on life.
